• Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau - The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMVCVB) was incorporated in 1992. The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau is officially recognized by the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) as one of the State's thirteen (13) Regional Tourism Councils established by the Legislature to market the region as a destination.
• Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce - The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce serving members in Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover, Greater Haverhill, and Greater Lowell and throughout the communities of the Merrimack Valley.
• Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council - The Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council is a private, non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization, created in August 1999 to promote the interests of the entire Merrimack Valley region, from Greater Lowell to the sea.
• Merrimack Valley Planning Commission - The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) is a regional planning agency providing professional planning services to fifteen communities in Northeastern Massachusetts. MVPC is one of thirteen regional planning agencies operating in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Communities of the MVPC region elect one Commissioner and one Alternate to attend monthly board meetings held at MVPC offices. The Commission meeting is a public forum where results of current projects, proposed new projects, and MVPC monthly expenses are discussed in detail. MVPC is a public, nonprofit organization committed to assisting the Valley's communities in Transportation, Environmental, Economic Development Planning and Geographic Information Systems.
